From the beginning
DUE PIOPPI is a model reality in Mirano near Venice. It all starts with Giovanni Favaretto called “Nenei” then passed down to his son Mario and finally Lorenzo the last born of Mario Favaretto and Maria. Over time, the common denominator has remained unchanged: passion for one’s work. This factor has determined product quality as evidenced by the 76 first prizes obtained in the various events in which it participated.
In addition to putting everything you have of your own, DUE PIOPPI has focused heavily on organization and modernization; so that the cultivation of 26 hectares of property and another 100 for rent guarantee a forage production that allows you to feed your livestock from which to obtain controlled, genuine and quality products.
Mainly the “Frisona” breed dairy cow is bred, whose 430 specimens in the stables lead to a production of 5,000 lt. day that allow the company to be a member of the “Lattebusche” consortium.
The good flavors, the taste of genuine “de casada” products that follow seasonality. We cultivate the land to feed the animals from which we derive some of our products. It is a zero kilometer production, strictly controlled to generate high quality and not large quantities.
Our salamis, the sopresse, the bacon, the ossocollo, the coppa, the lard, the musetti, all home-made sausages with pig meat raised on our farm.
