Read the Terms by section
1Operator and scope
The macrigi.com website is operated by Macrigi Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 09787379, with registered office at 207 High Street, Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent ST6 5EG, England and VAT number GB 244359401 (“Macrigi”). These Terms govern browsing, accounts, content and the functions of the platform. B2B purchases are also governed by the Terms for Wholesalers and Buyers; Producers and business partners accept the agreements that apply to their respective roles.
2Public access and B2B purpose
Anyone may browse the public pages. Restricted features require registration and verification. Purchases on macrigi.com are reserved for businesses, professional Wholesalers and Buyers; private customers are directed to macrigi.co.uk via the relevant link. Visiting the website does not create an entitlement to have an account activated.
3Business account
The account belongs to the registered business and may be used only by the account holder or authorised personnel. The representative must be at least 18 years old and authorised to bind the business. Information and documents must be accurate and kept up to date. Personal login credentials must not be shared; the business is responsible for access to the account and must notify Macrigi immediately of any suspected compromise.
4Verification, suspension and closure
Macrigi may verify identity, company details, tax information, licences and addresses; refuse or suspend accounts that are false, incomplete, unverifiable, fraudulent or non-compliant; and request reasonable supporting information. A user may request account closure where there are no outstanding obligations. Information that must be retained for accounting, legal, fraud-prevention or dispute purposes will continue to be kept.
5Permitted and prohibited use
You must not breach any law or third-party right, impersonate another person, distribute malware or spam, circumvent security or technical limits, gain unauthorised access, interfere with the service, or use the website for deceptive, counterfeit, sanctioned or otherwise prohibited activity. You must not extract or reuse catalogues, prices, contact records, images or data using bots, scrapers, crawlers or AI systems, except for authorised search engines and services.
6Content and intellectual property
The website, software, structure, trade marks and Macrigi content are protected. Users receive a limited, revocable and non-transferable licence to use the service. Producers retain ownership of their own content and grant the licence set out in the Producer Terms. No content may be copied, sold, sublicensed or used to train systems without permission.
7Reviews
Only reviews linked to completed and verified purchases are permitted. Reviews must be relevant, accurate and based on genuine experience. False, purchased, undisclosed incentivised, abusive, promotional or duplicate reviews, and reviews containing personal data, are prohibited. Macrigi may moderate reviews using transparent criteria; a genuine review will not be removed simply because it is negative. Producers may respond in a professional manner.
8Third-party services and links
Payments, deliveries, chat, analytics, newsletters and other services may be provided by third parties under their own terms and notices. External links do not constitute endorsement. Macrigi does not control external websites, but remains responsible for its own obligations that cannot lawfully be delegated.
9Availability and security
Macrigi aims to keep the website available and secure, but may suspend it for maintenance, updates, security, force majeure or legal obligations. Continuous or error-free service is not guaranteed. Users must keep their own systems up to date and retain copies of any data they are required to keep.
10Privacy and cookies
Personal data is processed in accordance with the Macrigi Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Non-essential preferences can be managed through the “Privacy choices” control. Declining marketing or analytics does not prevent functions that are strictly necessary for accounts, orders and payments.
11Liability
Nothing excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. For business users, and to the reasonable extent permitted by the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977, Macrigi is not liable for indirect loss, loss of profit or loss of opportunity arising solely from informational use of the website. Liability relating to orders or specific agreements is governed by the relevant documents.
12Changes
Macrigi may update these Terms to reflect changes in law, security, technology or services. Material changes affecting registered users will be notified at least 30 days in advance, except where legal or security requirements make this impracticable. Orders already accepted remain governed by the version recorded at the time of purchase.
13Notices, governing law and jurisdiction
Valid notices may be sent through the platform, to the registered email address or by post to Macrigi’s registered office. The parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute amicably. The laws of England and Wales apply and, subject to any mandatory rules, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. Italian and English versions may be provided; if they differ, the English version prevails.
14General provisions
Each provision operates separately; partial invalidity and any failure to enforce a right do not amount to a waiver. No third party acquires rights unless expressly stated. Linked documents and the platform’s electronic records form part of these Terms.
