Il Crinale is a family-run winery that produces high quality white, red and sparkling wines, in the heart of the Marche, Italy.

Since the late 1970s the vineyard has been owned, managed and expanded by the Quitadamo family. For over 30 years, wine grapes have been produced and sold to major wine producers throughout Italy.

As a natural link between family expertise, together with the accumulated experience and the Piceno area, a winery was inaugurated in 2006.

Each part of the winemaking process takes place in the Crinale cellar.
The vineyards are cultivated throughout the year, each vine being pruned by hand during the winter and then carefully grown, trimmed and nourished during the summer months.

The landscape is also manicured with areas preserved for wildflower habitat, insects and wildlife to balance cultivation. In 2001 the company had the organic certification from “Suolo & Salute” one of the most important Italian organic certification bodies.

The winery overlooks a natural terrace with a breathtaking view of the countryside from vineyards planted with the most typical vines of the Piceno province, generally destined for the production of traditional DOC and DOCG wines such as Rosso Piceno Superiore, Passerina and Pecorino.

The combination of tradition and innovation is the heart of the business of the “Il Crinale” family.
